International Student Delegates Get Together was conducted at BIT Knowledge Campus on 8/10/2016. 45 students belong to 13 countries such as Yemen, Egypt, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Nepal, Rwanda, Ghana, Nigeria, Burundi, Uganda, Vietnam, Afghanistan and Tajikistan were present for the get together.
Ms Faheema A. Salam from 7th sem CSE was the master of ceremony. The function was started with a beautiful prayer sung by the students. Prof Mustafa Basthikodi welcomed the gathering with a warm welcome speech. Dr. Abdul Kareem then addressed the gathering with his words of wisdom. He reminded us India has deep roots and a vibrant history in the field of education by taking examples of Nalanda university. He also congratulated the International students for selecting great country like India as a education hub.
Prof Bhavish Mehtha, Principal of BEADS also addressed the gathering and gave insights how to join for the architecture course. Dr S.K Raikar, Senior Advisor also addressed the gathering with his informative words.
Prof Mustafa Basthikodi gave a brief introduction about BIT and Dr Aziz Musthafa, Principal of BIT Polytechnic and Prof in Dept of CSE proposed vote of thanks.
The session was followed by a great lunch. International Students were overwhelmed by the hospitality they received and many of them thanked for the same.
