Mechanical Engineering Association of BIT conducted a MECHATICS-2016 (Mechanical Intelligent Talented Creative Students), was held on 26th September 2016 for the academic year 2016-2017. The program was started by welcoming the 2nd year students to the association by the principal Dr. Abdul Kareem and Senior Adviser Dr.S.K Raikar. They addressed the gathering and motivated the students as well as staff.
Prof. B.H Maruthi Prashanth HOD of Mechanical Engineering represented the department and welcomed the gathering. The principal of BIT, Dr. Abdul Kareem and senior adviser Dr.S.K Raikar motivated the students and staff, also assured full support to staff and students in their academics, research and project works.
Prof.B.Mustafa HOD of Computer Science & Engineering said about the importance of publishing journal papers and attending conferences, thereby he encouraged all students and staff members.
Principal of BIT Polytechnic Dr. Azeez Mustafa said how one must be a focused student and the importance of getting good results, to make their life better.
To motivate the students, Principal Dr.Abdul Kareem and senior adviser presented momentos to students for their achievement. A special memento was given to our VTU rank holder, Moidin Jawad for his excellent performance in VTU examination. Momentos were given to staff members for their excellent work and to motivate them by Dr. Abdul Kareem and Dr. S.K Raikar.
A brief review was given by Mohammed Hussain in which he elaborated the achievements of staff as well as students during the period of 2015-2016. The event was concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Nikil Babu.
